The CURED Semi Rigid Splint Cervical Collar has been specifically designed to offer protection and cushioning around the neck following mild to moderate muscle, ligament and tendon injury. It can also be used to help with cervical anatomic posture. This collar helps enable the cervical/neck musculature to rest and recover from the following injury by reducing movement at the neck and helping to ensure muscles and tendons are not overstrained. Also, the vinyl panel can be detached to allow for a gradual increase in range of motion. This modular step-down system is ideal for treatment pre-op, post-op, and rehabilitation.

Table of Size:

• To measure the height of the neck, eyes  should  be  looking  straight

ahead then measure the distance between the edge of sternum and

lower jaw with the neck in the extension position.

• To measure the circumference of the  neck,  measure  from  the

circumference of the neck at “Adam’s apple”.

H = Chin height.

Instuctions for use:

By keeping the center of the collar under the chin, apply Velcro closure for proper fit. Before fastening the back strap, ensure the head and the neck are in a neutral position. (Eyes should be looking straight ahead.)

If you cannot fix the Velcro in this position, keep the Velcro loop and hook ends in the front, close the collar then rotate to bring the center of the collar under the chin.

If needed, the vinyl panel can be removed to allow gradual increase in motion.

• Do not wear this at bedtime & avoid wearing this for a long time.

Washing instruction:

• Washing in cold water, gentle cycle and mild soap.
• Do not Dry Clean or tumble dry.
• Do not use bleach.
• Dry in an air current, and do not expose this collar to any

heat source.

• Store in a cool, dry place.
